Since 1954, only 47 women have led these institutions, out of a total of 382 leaders.<\/p><p>As CEO of WOB, I understand the relevance of promoting gender equality at all levels of leadership. WOB offers a space where we can advocate for more opportunities for women in leadership roles at the international level, including within multilateral organizations.<\/p><p>The call from leaders such as Hillary Clinton, Helen Clark, and Michelle Bachelet to have a woman at the head of the United Nations is a significant milestone.
