Although it is fantastic to have a day to highlight women's achievements in entrepreneurship, perhaps we should not have to make this distinction. Entrepreneurship is an act of courage and vision. <\/p>
Why, then, do we continue to differentiate? The answer lies in the reality faced by many women: limited access to resources, cultural biases, and a lower perception of their own abilities in certain contexts. Although steps toward equality are evident, there is still a long way to go before all entrepreneurs, regardless of gender, have the same opportunities and tools to succeed. <\/p>
How are we doing? <\/strong><\/p> In Spain, the female entrepreneurship rate (TEA) is 4.7%, which is below the European average of 6.3%. However, the positive news is that currently more than 70% of women who start businesses do so because of market opportunities and not just out of necessity.<\/p> In Latin America, the outlook is somewhat more encouraging, with countries such as Mexico, Colombia, and Guatemala leading the way in female participation in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Even so, the challenges remain similar in both regions: lack of access to financing and fewer visible support networks for women. <\/p> The Value of Support Networks <\/strong><\/p> This is where support networks and ecosystems play a fundamental role. Having spaces to share experiences, resolve doubts, and find inspiration can make a huge difference. Connecting with other entrepreneurs, learning together, and feeling supported are key to successfully facing the challenges of entrepreneurship. <\/p> Entrepreneurship is, above all, a journey. A path full of challenges, uncertainty, and learning, but also enormous satisfaction.<\/p> Let's celebrate those who take this risk and strive to make their dreams come true, regardless of gender. Because what really matters is the courage to dare and the passion to create something new. <\/p> Entrepreneurship should not be labeled.
