As a leader committed to equality, I celebrate the firm commitment of the Government of Spain in the fight against pay inequality. Equal pay is fundamental for a fair and equitable society, where all people, regardless of gender, receive fair compensation for equally valuable work.
As a CEO, I recognize the importance of belonging to networks of leaders that promote gender equality in all areas, including the workplace. WOB offers a space where we can share strategies and collaborate in the implementation of measures that combat the pay gap and promote equal opportunities for all women.
It is encouraging to see that the pay gap has narrowed in recent years in Spain, thanks to measures such as the increase in the minimum wage and the promotion of equality in technological development. However, there is still much to be done to completely eradicate this inequality.
By working together from WOB, we can move forward towards a fairer and more inclusive society for all.
