Meeting with the Deputy Secretary for Equality, Work-Life Balance, and Social Policy, Ana Alós

Our CEO, Cristina Ramos, had the opportunity to participate in this discussion, where highly important and current topics relevant to women and society were addressed.

Ana Alós, who leads Equality and Work-Life Balance Policies in the Community of Madrid, has reinforced her commitment to promoting innovative policies aimed at improving gender equality and work-family balance in the region, through

numerous agreements with municipalities and associations to encourage shared responsibility and combat gender stereotypes (El Español) (Community of Madrid).

The achievements of these policies are significant, with a notable increase in company participation in equality and work-life balance initiatives, reflecting a growing interest in improving workplace climate and gender equity. The main objectives include eliminating the gender pay gap, promoting hybrid work models, and addressing the emotional needs of employees (Community of Madrid).

For Women on Board, equality and work-life balance measures not only benefit women but also improve the work environment as a whole, contributing to a fairer and more equitable society—measures that are essential to achieving gender-balanced representation in leadership positions.
